Hola a todos! Hey everyone! We’ve started this blog as a forum for you to share your experiences in the Neotropical Environment Program at McGill University so as to build collaborative relationships both inside and outside the program, stay connected to each other and to give prospective students an idea of who we are, what we do, and blow them away with the intellectual and personal opportunities that the NEO program offers.
Feel free to post anything you want, discuss you research in the neo-tropics, talk about your educational experiences at the Smithsonian and at McGill, share funny (and not so funny) anecdotes of experiences in the program, and throw around ideas and questions concerning science and society in the Neo-tropical environment.
I’ll give you a topic. Conciencia, means both “consciousness” and “with science.” Discuss!
